Haiku XLVIII - LII

illuminating
a strand of girl’s hair in the
sun—vibrating white

---

for breakfast we had
rye bread and tuna and all
the time to ourselves

---

wind made nude the tree,
whose blossom scattered before
thirsty bees could drink

---

her swollen lips are
red as I watch her apply
some black eyeliner
